Chery Group’s iCAUR automotive brand is set to launch in Scotland after the group agreed a new franchise deal with Eastern Western Motor Group (EWMG).
EWMG has secured the retail rights to represent iCAUR – Chery’s luxury car brand – across three strategic hubs in East and Central Scotland: Dundee, Perth, and Stirling.
Development plans are already underway across all three areas, with the new showrooms expected to be fully operational by early 2027.
Keith Duncan, group managing director at EWMG, said: “We would also like to thank Mike Ma of iCAUR / Chery Group for placing his trust and faith in EWMG.
“I am confident our one hundred year heritage and expertise in retailing executive cars will impress. Can we also thank Kirsty Griffin, regional franchising manager for her guidance and support. I think we are going to have a lot of fun and success working together.
“Good luck to the EWMG iCAUR team and roll on January 2027.”

The introduction of the iCAUR franchise builds upon the existing partnership between EWMG and the Chery Group. Following the launch of its first Chery dealership in Dundee in late 2025, the group expanded its footprint to five Chery locations across East and Central Scotland within twelve months.
EWMG says the Chery brand has proven to be a highly successful and profitable addition to the Scottish automotive retail market. The manufacturer’s corporate ambition, operational simplicity, and collaborative UK leadership team provided EWMG with the confidence to expand its representation through the premium iCAUR brand.
